So confused.
Monday, the new semester starts. Yet, I am registered for precisely nothing. I found a few courses that may be useful, but then, there's the cost.
$2400.
That's money I don't have. I am trying to locate a job with my EKG certificate, but as yet, the cert hasn't come back. Can't search too hard without the paper.
So what do I do? Take semi-meaningless courses for big $$$, or sit out a while as I find a job? Compounding it all, I need to keep things looking good for medical school interviews.
What in hell do I do? Confused.

I think you've pretty much exhausted the possibilities at UT, my dear. You said before that Wright and MUO already have every last shred of application material they're going to get, so anything you do this term won't affect your chances anyway.
Your EKG cert should be back by the middle of the month, yes? That's not too much more time to wait. Meanwhile, is there another certification class you could take at Owens, or maybe at Monroe Community? (I'm pretty sure you'd get in-state tuition there, since you're in a border county.)
Be patient, my love. If I can be patient, so can you. :-P
I have looked at Owens, and haven't seen squat. I never though of Monroe, though... maybe. :-)
If I should be lucky enough to win the Publishers Clearing House $10 million in Feb., I will loan you the money interest free for 20 years. But don't hold your breath, I've been entering for 10 years now and they still haven't knocked on MY door.
Good luck to you though! I'm praying that somehow you will get the money you need to continue your education in the medical field!

I may have found an answer. :-) Starting an EMT-Basic course on Monday. :-)
